[inspired by] Cacti

My sweet boyfrannn remembered me mentioning at some point that I wanted to start a little succulent garden, so this year, for my birthday, he bought me a little cactus to get me started. I think succulent gardens are absolutely precious, and although I hadn't quite imagined including a cactus in my little terrarium (a result of mild childhood trauma), this spiny little seedling is cute enough to make me rethink my aversion to them. I scoured the net for some miniature cactus clumps and found these sweet and petite groupings to be my favorites.
The cactus in question, still in it's original pot.

Would you ever plant a succulent garden? How do you feel about cacti?

Electric Daisy Carnival :: Vegas

Every year, I look forward to road tripping to Las Vegas for a three day music festival called Electric Daisy Carnival. Over the years, EDC has grown from an underground rave in Los Angeles, to a complete life-changing experience that circles the globe. For three nights, headliners travel to the desert to dance, play, and coexist in the music for three nights. This year was my fifth pilgrimage to the daisy and this year, the experience also included the DnB All Stars show, BassRush Massive, and EDM Biz! As always, I had a wonderful time under the electric sky <3 div="">

[behind the scenes] Black and White

I had so much fun working on this black and white lingerie photo shoot with a few of my friends. The idea was to combine lingerie with regular clothes, but all in black and white tones. I was also fortunate to borrow some pieces from Gordana Gehlhausen (of Project Runway fame) that will be debuting in her new lingerie line, Veshwear.
