[behind the scenes] 1960s-Inspired Engagement Photo Shoot

I had so much fun working with Kathryn and Victor to create beautiful vintage looks for their engagement photo session. The crew had a great time running around San Diego finding the most "sixties" looking locations to complement the vibe of the photo shoot. It was nice to change up my usual direction and style something less editorial and more fun.
Shooting the first look outside of a laundromat in Point Loma.

Photo of a photo of a photo… having fun with a Polaroid Swinger camera outside SalonMint in Point Loma.

Shooting the third look of the day at the old Loma Theater, which is now a book store, but still maintains its vintage theater charm.

Work work work! Me with my kit inside the King's Inn at Hotel Circle.
Shooting next to the pool at the King's Inn Hotel.

In the hallway above the lobby of the King's Inn. The wood panelling inside the hotel was the perfect unexpected find to complete the last look of the day.
