[DIY] Floral Framed Glasses

Last week, I posted THIS stunning stunna DIY, where I showed you how to embellish a pair of sunglasses and a pair of reading glasses. Since the reading glasses I created were a little bit more simple, I decided to finish them off by bringing the decoration all the way around to the sides. Continuing with the rose theme, I painted a floral pattern on the blank sides of my reading glasses.
You will need:
Nail Polish-- a pink shade (I used Essie's "Mod Square") and a lighter pink shade (I used Forever 21 Love & Beauty's Baby Pink), a green shade (I used Color Club's Blue-Ming), and a clear top coat.
Nail art brushes or toothpicks
Make sure the sides, or "temples" of your glasses are clean and have any stickers or tag taken off.
Take the darker of your two flower colors, and wipe most of the polish off of the brush. Lightly tap the bristles of the brush flat against the glasses, creating small uneven circles space these shapes evenly across the temples. It should dry quickly, but be sure each layer of polish dries before you move on to the next step.
Next, using a fine nail art brush or a toothpick, draw "U" shapes with the lighter polish color on top of the first shapes. This creates depth and creates petals for your flowers.
With your green polish, paint little dashes on the outer corners of your flowers to make leaves. If you have smaller "flowers", paint a green bottom and a stem to turn it into a rosebud!
Seal your pretty new flowers with a coat of clear polish, let dry, and you're all done!

Did you try this DIY, or the one last week?
