[DIY] Sequin Sweatshirt

Hi, my name is Holeh, and I'm addicted to sequins.
There. I said it. I love sequins. They are bright, colorful, and an inexpensive material to DIY with.
This Markus Lupfer Sequin Lips Sweater has been EVERYWHERE lately. The bright graphic is eye catching, but not overboard for a basic sweater. When I found this simple Minnie Mouse sweatshirt at Walmart, I knew I could take it up a notch by adding sequins, a la the Lips Sweater in question.
You will need:
A sweater with a simple graphic -- choose a pre-printed sweatshirt like I did, or create your own graphic on a plain top
Sequin ribbon in the colors of your design
Fabric glue or E-6000
Spread glue on the area of your design that you want to cover, working in small sections. Start with the outline of your image, and work towards the middle, filling in the outline row by row.
Fill in any spots you missed with single sequins and make sure to pull off any extra threads or glue strings!
Cover your entire design, or just one section that you want to emphasize.
How much do you love sequins? Should I finish covering the entire design, or leave my Minnie Mouse as is? Leave a comment and let me know if you try this DIY yourself!
