NASCAR! A popular sport in the south and across America, it involves fast cars, fiery wrecks, and lots of beer! I had never been to or even watched a Nascar race on tv. It was very loud and a !lot of fun. Fashion at a Nascar race is a completely different animal. There are no high heels, no frilly dresses, and no designer labels. All you need to look stylish at a race is a pair of jeans and a t-shirt with your favorite drivers name across it!

Last night my friend Angelina and I went out downtown in San Diego for a friend's birthday and to him spin as DJ Slowhand at the Se Hotel. We had a blast dancing and I met so many awesome people. Definitely a fun night!

This week in my Visual Merchandising class, we had to put together a display promoting our program. Each group drew a card for the location and a design element to use. Some groups had huge windows or bulletin boards to design in different locations around campus. We drew a glass display case and the element of "rhythm". Here is our finished product!

The whole purpose of the menswear photo shoot that we did a few weeks ago in class, was to create the promotional materials for our end of year fashion show. Our first project was to create the save-the-date postcards for our show. My version wasn't chosen, but I still had a lot of fun creating it!
